Welcome to your Summer Reading Adventures at the Hawley Public Library!
Summer programming starts on June 25th and ends on August 10th with an Ice-Cream Party at the Dairy Twist in Hawley. Tickets for the party will be handed out prior to the event. There are 2 ways to participate in our Summer Reading Adventures (pick one or both!):
B-I-N-G-O Reading Challenges Card - Complete a square and check it off. Get a "BINGO" (up, down, or diagonal) and earn one entry ticket into our end-of-summer prize drawings. Drawings will be announced at the end of the Summer Program.
Try to make reading a part of your day, every day. Anything you read counts - including magazines, graphic novels, books you read to others, books that are read to you, E-books, audiobooks, picture books, etc. Summer is a great time to explore new books and genres too. See what we have to offer here at the Hawley Library. If we don’t have it, we will find it. I promise!
In-Person Programs - We’ve got lots of things to do to fill in your Summer days. Please refer to our events calendar on Facebook and the information posted below. Registration is not required unless noted.

PRE-SCHOOL STORYTIME
Thursdays, 6/30 - 8/4 from 11 am - 12 pm
Join Ms. Mary on the Blue Rug as we move our bodies, learn some early
literacy skills, read books, do a craft, and have fun. The program is designed
for ages 3-5. Grown-up participation not required but you must remain on the
property. We have lots of books for you to peruse on our main level!
