Our Friends of the Hawley Library Committee members are a dedicated group of folks who share a common goal - helping to spread the word about what we do here, organizing programs, and helping us raisefunds that will allow us do even more.
MISSION STATEMENT/GOALS:
FRIENDS PROJECTS
In the spring and summer of 2019, the Friends Beautification Committee put a great deal of time and effort into reorganizing and replanting the gardens around our side entrance and surrounding our gazebo. They also set up and maintained four large pots with seasonal plantings from spring through the holidays.

FRIENDS FUNDRAISING
Since 2019, the Friends have helped the Hawley Library raise funds for property beautification, solicited donations for our Basket Raffle, and organized our very first Winterfest Sunday Bake Sale.
MEETINGS & SOCIALS
The Friends of the Hawley Library meetings have resumed. If you're interested in joining, or you'd like to learn more about the Friends, please feel free to stop in. Periodically, the Friends will hold Socials that are scheduled after 5 PM...these are ideal for folks who are interested in joining but are otherwise occupied during the day. Announcements regarding Friends Socials will be posted here on our website as well as on our Facebook page.

- Sponsor activities and programs to draw more community members to the Hawley Library.
