WHERE CAN I SEARCH THE CATALOG FOR STUFF I WANT?

HOW DO I USE THE CATALOG SEARCH?
The catalog allows you to search using basic, advanced or browse settings. You can specify the type of search (by keyword, author, etc.), the format (book, DVD, Audiobook) and specify your preferred library or search all nine libraries in Wayne and Pike Counties. Just enter an author, subject, title or keyword and the catalog will do the rest. If you're having difficulty finding what you're looking for, feel free to call us at 570-226-4620 - we're happy to help in any way we can, including obtaining your item from another library in Pennsylvania using Interlibrary Loan (ILL).
HOW DO I ACCESS MY ONLINE ACCOUNT?
It's easy - just CLICK HERE. You'll need your library card number and the last four digits of your phone number to log in if it's your first visit, or your username and the password you created if you're a returning user.
HOW DO I GET A LIBRARY CARD?
Stop in and visit us to obtain your FREE library card on the spot - just bring proof of local residency or property ownership with you when you apply (a local driver's license, recent property tax bill, utility bill, apartment lease, locally addressed mail, etc.), fill out a short application, we'll enter your information in our system and you'll be ready to check out materials.
If you'd prefer to complete an application online, please click HERE. Make sure you choose 'Hawley Public Library' as your home library. We'll contact you when your card is ready to pickup - be sure to bring proof of local residency with you.
If you're an out-of-state resident, the fee for a library card is $5 for one month or $15 per year.
